AADHAAR Card for NRIs and Foreigners

AADHAAR card is available free of cost to all citizen and residents of India, including NRIs and resident foreign nationals, regardless of the their citizenship. The procedure and document requirements for NRIs and Foreigners are same, as for any other resident of India. If any NRI or a Foreigner wish to apply for the AADHAAR card, they have to be physically present at any of the AADHAAR card center in India.

My son and daughter in law are NRI's staying in USA for last 11 years. They have Indian Passports( with US address ), PAN card, Indian Bank statements showing Indian address proof. Are these sufficient for obtaining AADHAR for them? Also, they re unable to apply online. So would request you to let us know how to proceed. We live in Alipore area of Kolkata.

We applied for AADHAR CARD on 10/07/nnn3, as NRI. We haven't received it as of today. I sent a mail to help@uidai.gov.in on Oct 07, nnn4 and there was no reply after many reminders.
