AADHAAR Card for NRIs and Foreigners

AADHAAR card is available free of cost to all citizen and residents of India, including NRIs and resident foreign nationals, regardless of the their citizenship. The procedure and document requirements for NRIs and Foreigners are same, as for any other resident of India. If any NRI or a Foreigner wish to apply for the AADHAAR card, they have to be physically present at any of the AADHAAR card center in India.

Dear Sir, I am an US citizen residing in USA for last 20 years, and have no plans to visit India in near future. Can you please let me know if there is way to get Aadhar card without visiting India. I am being told that Bank accounts would get blocked if Aadhar card is not linked by 30th April. My bank accounts are linked to my PAN card and passport.

Hello Sir/Madam, I am Indian Citizen, I have applied for Aadhar Card on 25/02/nnn5 but never received Aadhar Card at my India Permanent Address. Even on checking on website i am not able to retrieve any status for it. I have receipt with me. Sent email to email id listed on Aadhar website but never received any reply.
