The UIDAI has set up a Contact Centre for the residents, registrars and enrollment agencies of India. All enrolling residents are given a printed acknowledgement form with a unique Enrollment Number. Residents can enquire about their enrollment status through any of the below communication channel of the contact centre.

Dear, I would like to generate my aadhar card online and have lost my acknowledgement slip. I am unable to generate the aadhar card as I do not know the password required for logging. Please help. This website needs a lot of improvement as there are lot of links which do not work or lead to false links. I have been trying to reach your helpline number without any success. I need a clarification. My son 42 years old, is sevely retarded and blind in one eye. His mental age is that of a one year old child and so he cannot cooperate for taking biometrics. What is the alternative procedure for aadhar for him? Hello Sir, i m from west bengal state, working as a salesman in chennai for past 5 years. since it have become mandatory to have ADHAAR CARD. i wanted to apply adhhar card in chennai itself but this people are saying i can apply adhaar card only in my own state. since i don't have any proof for applying adhaar card here except a bank account passbook from chennai, which they told is sufficient to apply adhaar card but they have told that i m other state citizen so i can only apply in my west bengal. kindly help me, is it necessary to visit my hometown for applying adhaar card. please give me some suggestion and also tell me what can be done.
