The UIDAI has set up a Contact Centre for the residents, registrars and enrollment agencies of India. All enrolling residents are given a printed acknowledgement form with a unique Enrollment Number. Residents can enquire about their enrollment status through any of the below communication channel of the contact centre.

Dear Sir, My sister was got aadhaar with wrong name and later she applied for new one ..many times she approached aadhaar centers and due to finger print issue (less impression of prints ) not able to get her card till now.. Population of Pune city is approx 4 Million If we assume that 10% of Pune population (4,00,nnn) does not have Aadhar, and assume that there are nnn Aadhar Centres in Pune, each processing only 20 Aadhar per day (approx nnn p.m.), then it will take 8 months for each Pune resident to have his/her Aadhar. There are only handful centres, and they can humour only 20 applicants daily; to get the token at 9am, people are standing in a queue from 6am outside the enrolment centres. How do you expect to link Aadhar to bank accounts, demat accounts, insurance policies, etc by March 31, nnn8?

Dear Sir, My son got the Aadhaar Card after completing his studies in India. He went to Australia for further studies and got employment and finally switched to Australian Nationality and got OCI card too issued by the Govt. of India. I am an Overseas Citizen of India (OCI) residing in Australia. On my last visit, I tried to obtain an Aadhar card and was told that there is no provision for Overseas Citizens unless we are residing in Australia. Without the Aadhar Card, we are unable to receive property from our parents. Can you please advise us ASAP on the procedure to obtain the Aadhar Card for Overseas Citizens. We have requested for Daughter's Aadhaar Card. But I have lost Enrolment Slip. By making registered mobile number mandatory it is making the whole process complex . My wife is from UP. Now when I want the mobile number to be updated the enrolment centre is asking me to go to UP to update it .. are we still in nnn7 ?
