AADHAR Card Status
UIDAI has made AADHAR Card status check online facility available on their online portal. You can check AADHAR Card status online from anywhere at anytime totally free of cost. There are no fees to check AADHAAR Card status. As per the UIDAI guidelines it can take close to 90 days to process an AADHAR Card application. So before checking AADHAR Card status you should wait for atleast 3 months from the application date, unless you have already received communication about your AADHAR Card status from UIDAI.
Applicants are intimated about their AADHAR Card status on their registered mobile phone and/or email id when their AADHAR Card application is processed at the UIDAI back-office. AADHAR Card status enquiry can be done anytime anywhere online from UIDAI website or at AADHAR Card status enquiry phone number
AADHAR Card Status - AADHAR Status Check Online
To make AADHAR Card status enquiry online, you will need the details from your AADHAAR Card enrollment slip. Using the 14 digits "Enrollment Number" and 14 digits "Date and Time of enrollment" from the AADHAAR Card enrollment slip, you can check AADHAAR Card status online. For AADHAAR UID Card status check, please go to the UIDAI portal here. Enter the following details from your AADHAAR Card enrollment slip to make AADHAAR Card status enquiry, as shown in the screenshot below:
- Enrollment ID (14 digits "Enrollment Number" and 14 digits "Date and Time of enrollment")
- Image / Image Text (enter the security code displayed in the image in the "Enter the Security Code" box)
After entering all the details for AADHAAR UID Card status, click on the "Check Status" button. The UIDAI system will automatically verify the details and if they are valid, it will display the AADHAR Card status.
AADHAR Card Status - AADHAR Card status enquiry phone number
To make AADHAR Card status enquiry through phone number, you will need the details from your AADHAAR Card enrollment slip. Using the 14 digits "Enrollment Number" and 14 digits "Date and Time of enrollment" from the AADHAAR Card enrollment slip, you can check AADHAAR Card Status through phone number. Send an SMS "UID STATUS 1234/12345/12345" (replace umbers with your actual 14 digits AADHAAR Card enrollment number) to 51969. If you send this SMS through your registered mobile phone number, the UIDAI system will reply back with your AADHAAR Card number if it's processed and ready otherwise the system will only reply back the current AADHAR Card status.
