AADHAAR Card for Kids and Children

Children & kids above 1 year of age can apply for AADHAAR card. Kids' biometrics data, such as finger prints, keep changing frequently upto 5 years of age. Therefore no biometric data will be collected for kids below 5 years age. For children below 5 years age, the AADHAAR card will be linked to their guardian / parents. When the child turns 5 years age, his/her biometric data will be collected and linked to his/her AADHAAR card.

When the child turn 15 years age, his/her final biometric data will be taken once again (for the last time) and linked to the AADHAAR card.

For kids, proof of Date of Birth document is necessary. Either parent, who has applied for AADHAAR card, can introduce their children for AADHAAR card. For that the introducing parent's Proof of Identity and Proof of Address document will need to be submitted for the kid's AADHAAR card.

Hi, I am trying to apply Aadhar card for my kid .Her name is KADIYAPU PRATULYA and she is 4 years old. Recently I approached one of the vendor In Hyderabad (near Ramnagar) for AAdhar card ,After 10 days when I asked them they said in Database it is showing up as Already Enrolled. I never applied Aadhar card for my Kid earlier. Can you please advice ,where and how to resolve this issue. Howe to get Aadhar card for my kid at the earliest? After shifting from NOIDA to Lok Sabha Residential Complex, Sector-2, R.K. PURAM, New Delhi-22 I have updated address change in the adhar cards of self, wife, daughter(age 8 yrs) and son(6 years) through an AADHAR CAMP conducted by ICICI BANK in the complex by paying Rs.30/- as CORRECTION FEE.. Except for my sons card updation has been carried out in other aadhar cards and I have received modified cards for the rest. I tried to update the address online in the aadhar card of my son and given my latest MTNL telephone bill as supporting document. However today I received an SMS that the request has been rejected due to INVALID DOCUMENT. i FAIL TO UNDERSTAND WHY IN THE FIRST INSTANCE ALSO MY SONS DATA WAS NOT UPDATED WHEREAS MY MINOR DAUGHTERS DATA WAS UPDATED EVEN THOUGH SAME DOCUMENT AS PROOF OF MY ADDRESS WAS SUBMITTED. EVEN THOUGH MY MTNL LATEST BILL AS PROOF OF RESIDENCE WAS SUBMITTED THE SECOND TIME, THE REQUEST WAS REJECTED STATING THAT IT IS AN INVALID DOCUMENT. PLEASE ADVICE WHAT SHOULD I DO.
