AADHAR Card Download
UIDAI has made AADHAR Card download online process very easy through their online portal. You can download AADHAR Card online totally free of cost, there are no fees charged by UIDAI for AADHAAR Card download. You can download AADHAAR Card as many times as desired. The AADHAR Card duplicate copy is downloaded in PDF file format.
The downloaded PDF file is referred to as e-AADHAR. The e-AADHAR Card downloaded online and the AADHAR Card received by post are both considered as original and carry the same validity. To be able to download and print an identity document from anywhere at anytime and that too free of cost can come in handy in many situations. In situations where you are required to provide a valid Proof of Id and/or Proof of Address document but you forgot to carry one with you or did not carry one for the concerns of loosing the original document, you can now easily download and print e-AADHAAR Card. If you do not wish yo go through the AADHAR Card download process everytime, you can simply download the e-AADHAAR PDF file and carry it with you in a USB Pen drive or in your mobile phone memory. You can also send the downloaded e-AADHAR Card PDF file as email attachment to yourself, that way you can simply retrieve it online even more easily instead of going through UIDAI portal and download process everytime. The downloaded e-AADHAR Card PDF file is secured by a secret password for safety. This way only who knows your password will be able to open your AADHAR Card download PDF file. The password to open e-AADHAR Card PDF file is the pincode of the home address that you gave at the time of AADHAAR Card enrollment / registration.
AADHAR Card Download Online - e-AADHAAR Card
Before you can download AADHAR Card online, you need to make sure it was processed and issued to you sucessfully. If you already know that your AADHAR Card application was processed and issued, you can carry on with the AADHAR Card download procedure below. If you are not sure about your AADHAR Card status, you can check your AADHAR Card status here: AADHAR Card Status. To download AADHAR Card online, you will need to use either of the below mentioned 2 documents:
- To download AADHAR Card online, you can use the details from your AADHAAR Card enrollment slip. You will need the 14 digits "Enrollment Number" and 14 digits "Date and Time of enrollment" from your AADHAR Card enrollment slip to download e-AADHAAR Card online.
- To download AADHAR Card online, you can also use your 12 digit AADHAAR Card number
AADHAR Card Download - AADHAR Card Download Online by Enrollment No / URN number
For AADHAR Card download online by enrollment no option, you will need the details from your AADHAAR Card enrollment slip. For UID card download please go to the UIDAI portal here. Select "Enrollment Id" option button on the AADHAR Card download page. Enter the following details from your AADHAAR Card enrollment slip to download AADHAAR Card online, as shown in the screenshot below:
- Enrollment Number (14 digits "Enrollment Number" and 14 digits "Date and Time of enrollment")
- Full Name (exact name as shown in the enrollment slip)
- Pin Code (6 digits home address pincode that was given at the time of enrollment)
- Image / Image Text (enter the security code displayed in the image in the "Enter above Image Text" box)
- Mobile number (mobile number where you like the system to send you a One Time Password)
After entering all the details for UID card download, click on the "Get One Time Password" button. The UIDAI system will automatically verify the details and if they are valid and if the e-AADHAAR is available for download, it will SMS you the One Time Password on the given mobile number. After you receive the One Time Password, enter that in the "Enter OTP" box and click on the "Validate & Download" button in "Step 2". If the One Time Password you entered is correct, a new page will open where you can download AADHAR Card online as PDF file.
AADHAR Card Download - AADHAR Card Download with AADHAAR Number
For AADHAR Card Download with AADHAAR Number option, you will need your AADHAAR Number. For UID card download please go to the UIDAI portal here. Select "Aadhaar" option button on the AADHAR Card download page. Enter the following details from your AADHAAR Card to download AADHAAR Card online, as shown in the screenshot below:
- Enrollment Number/Aadhaar Number (either your 12 digits AADHAAR Card number or 14 digits "Enrollment Number" and 14 digits "Date and Time of enrollment")
- Full Name (exact name as shown in the AADHAR Card / enrollment slip)
- Pin Code (6 digits home address pincode that was given at the time of enrollment)
- Image / Image Text (enter the security code displayed in the image in the "Enter above Image Text" box)
