AADHAAR Card Change Name / Surname Correction Online
If you recently got married that changed your name or if there are mistake(s) in the name, you can apply for AADHAAR card name change / name correction / surname change online as well as through post.
PLEASE NOTE: Having a mobile phone number is necessary to apply for name change / name correction / surname change online. The online update portal will send an OTP (One Time Pin) to your mobile phone number.

Maximum 4 AADHAAR card name change / name correction / surname change requests are allowed.
For name change / name correction / surname change in AADHAAR card, a self attested Proof of Identity document is required.
Clearly write your AADHAAR number on all document copies.
Your name must be clearly written below the signatures/thumbprint when self attesting the Proof of Identity document.
For children below five years, parent/guardian can fill and sign/provide thumbprint in the supporting document copies.

You can apply for AADHAAR card name change / name correction / surname change online, by following these 3 easy steps:
Submit your AADHAAR card name change / name correction / surname change request online
Upload supporting self attested Proof of Identity document (soft copy) for AADHAAR card name change / name correction / surname change online
You will be required to submit the AADHAAR card name change / name correction / surname change request in English as well as your local language.
Once the name change / name correction / surname change request is submitted you will be given your AADHAAR card Update Request Number. Save this number to track name change / name correction / surname change request status check and future references. Your AADHAAR card change request information will be verified by UIDAI representative and upon successful validation, the changes will be reflected in your AADHAAR card and the same will be communicated to you.

My name mentioned in aadhar card is Deepak kumar but now i want to change my name as Deepak Kumar singh because my father surname is singh(which is also mentioned on my current aadhar card) but problem is that, my all goverment documents like college marksheets, pancard etc have name as Deepak kumar only.so kindly suggest me what self attested document i can give to make changes in my name on aadhar card.

My father's name in aadhar is incorrect his name is Raveendran but in aadhar its showing Reveendran. And our address of all members in our Aadhar is not what will our do. pleassse inform us.

1. I have remarried in Feb nnn5 and my new name is Radha Bhalchandra Autade.
2. I have marriage certificate , but the name is Chanchala Laxman Mukane (name before 1st marriage)
3. I changed my name in Gazzette from Chanchala Laxman Mukane to Radha Bhalchandra Autade.
4. I have obtained Pan Card with my new name, i.e Radha Bhalchandra Autade.
5. What documents must I submit for change in name and address ?
I have Pan Card with new name , I do not have any other document for address proof in my new name. Pls help in this regards
