Apply AADHAAR Card From Different Location

If you have moved to different location, away from your home location you can still apply for AADHAAR card. You can apply at any of the nearby open AADHAAR center near your current location. Infact, you may apply for AADHAAR at any location anywhere in India. To check if an AADHAAR card center near you has online appointment facility click here: AADHAAR Card Apply Online.

If an AADHAAR card center near your location DOES NOT have online appointment registration facility, you can walkin to any nearby AADHAAR card center, without prior appointment.

It has become a cumbersome process to make corrections/updationof AADHAR. Form submission should be open for more hours and the Centres should process applications more time.

My son is a permanent resident of Kolkata but is working in Mumbai for past 9 years. He stays in rented premises on leave and license basis which are renewable energy 11 months at the option of the landlord/tenant. He had applied for AADHAAR card in Mumbai giving his present place of residence and the short term tenancy agreement as supporting document. Despite more than 6 months having elapsed, he has not got his AADHAAR card, apparently because short term tenancy agreements are not accepted as proof of residence. In such circumstance, can he reapply for AADHAAR in Mumbai giving his Kolkata residential address and producing his driver's license (issued in Kolkata) as identity cum proof of residence? He also holds a PAN card issued from Kolkata.

I'm 60 years old and i had enrolled for aadhar card first in nnn3 and subsequently 6 times in the enrollment centres located in korattur/ambattur, Tamilnadu and due to some technical fault, i haven't got my aadhar card yet. When I enquired about the problem through UIDM aadhar enquiry number nnn7, the repIy i got is that my fingerprint wasn't scanned properly and asked me to enroll again in nearby enrollment centres.
