AADHAAR Card for NRIs and Foreigners

AADHAAR card is available free of cost to all citizen and residents of India, including NRIs and resident foreign nationals, regardless of the their citizenship. The procedure and document requirements for NRIs and Foreigners are same, as for any other resident of India. If any NRI or a Foreigner wish to apply for the AADHAAR card, they have to be physically present at any of the AADHAAR card center in India.

Hello I stay in London for 5 yr now and have bank accounts in India which I use for family maintenance. I have heard Adhaar is now mandatory for all Bank accounts. Please let me know if I need Aadhaar . I already have PAN card linked to my Bank accounts. if needed, how do i get it made from UK? I dont have any permanent residence in India.

Hi there, I do not have an aadhar card and I am in the UK . I hear that PAN card will expire at the end of this month if not linked to an aadhar card . Is that correct?

Hi, I am currently in US and I did my aadhar enrollment in nnn2. However, I am not recollecting my Aadhar ID/enrollment ID (I tried all possible ways thru online). My mobile number attached to Aadhar termed, and tried with email ID to get UID/EID thru https://uidai.gov.in/, but no luck. Also, I am not planning to visit India soon. Is there any other way to get my Lost UID/EID?

My Passport reads old Residential Address which requires to be changed/amended now. My Bank Account reads my Present Residential Address of India which is not mentioned in the passport. MY QUESTIONS: Can I apply from any center in India? Which address will be mentioned in Adhaar Card, the one of the Passport or of Bank Account? Can I attach Passport Copy as Proof of Identity? I am a citizen of USA. I am a pensioner of Tamil Nadu. This year I have mailed my papers in lieu of personal muster for pensioners. I am not going to India and my auditor will prepare my IT returns and send them to me to be signed and returned to him. In the event that any NRI or a Foreigner will apply for the AADHAAR card, they must be physically present at any of the AADHAAR card focus in India. They can apply at any of the open AADHAAR card focus close to their area in India. There is no arrangement to get an aadhaar card at Indian Embassies outside India, either. There is additionally no arrangement to apply for Adhar Card online either. NRI candidates can just take an earlier arrangement for a future date on the web.
