Hello, I am a NRI writing this letter from USA. We are originally from Sanjivanraopet, in Narayankhed Taluqua (now Mandal). I do own lands in Sanjivanraopet and are thinking of disposing them off. I am told that we need Adhar Card for such transactions such as sale of land and depositing proceeds in the bank.I do have OCI card and Pan Card. I was born in Hyderabad, India in nnn0, and raised there. We are getting conflicting reports suggestingthat NRIs do not need Adhar Card. Is this true. And if this is true, then how to I do transactions with our accounts in banks in Hyderabad without Adhar Card. Please furnish the details about getting Adhar card. We are coming to India in October of nnn7. Your prompt reply will be much appreciated.
